Roasted Garlic

Butter-y Garlic & Lavender Biscuits

48-HOUR DRY RUB

Remove excess paper from a large,  fresh head of garlic. Trim top of,  exposing the tips of the bulbs.

Place in heavy-duty foil and smother with EVOO and a heavy tbsp Sal Terrae Classic seasoning.  Close foil tightly and place in 325 degree oven for 2 hours.

Your home will smell like a sweet Tuscan heaven! Caramelized Garic!

Eat alone or use this fragrant, gorgeous garlic for crusty breads & dips, smothered atop grilled meats,  marinara sauces,  scampi or mashed potatoes!

RIBEYE, NY STRIP, PORTERHOUSE.

Remove steak from butcher paper. Press Sal Terrae Classic seasoning generously into meat.... yes, generous! Salt will melt into the meat over 48 hours but burn off excess on the grill.

Re-wrap loosely in the butcher paper so it can still breathe.  Place in the fridge for 48 hours.

Remove from paper and slather in softened UNsalted butter. Sear over high heat on grill (open or flattop) roughly 2 to 3 minutes per side for a gorgeous, melty mid-rare. Cook over indirect heat (indirect grill or finish in oven)  if a higher temperature is desired.

Simple and Delicious

Using your favorite quick,  biscuit recipe (we like Bisquick) prep as per instructions.  Prior to baking,  shake a light dash of Sal Terrae Classic on top.  Bake as instructed.

While baking,  mix 1/2tbs Classic with a 1/2 stick of melted butter.  Brush on hot biscuits and serve immediately. YUM!

Empty that fridge! Use your favorite late summer garden veggies! Pick your favorites or pick them all!

Zucchini,  baby potatoes, mushrooms,  carrots,  parsnips, onions,  bell peppers, Brussels, yellow squash.

Cut 2 large links of smoked kielbasa in large rings. Slice veggies into larger,  bite-sized pieces. In a deep bowl,  mix EVOO and Sal Terrae Classic generously.  Place in foil lined shallow pan and roast at 400 for 25-30 minutes, stirring once.  Do a quick broil to crisp,  serve hot!

Eggs and Avocado Toast

Eggs and Avocado Toast

This family favorite on a lazy Sunday morning or wrapped as a breakfast burrito for an on-the-go "I'm late" healthy morning.

1-2 local eggs cooked to your preference:

*scrambled with sauteed bacon, broccoli and spinach, little bit of cheese wrapped tight for on the go

*over easy with a gorgeous melty yolk for a slower at-home meal served with whole wheat toast and fresh avocado slices.

Add dashes of Sal Terrae Classic as you cook the eggs. A little shake on your avocado toast is always a welcomed brightness. Serve with fresh berries, bananas and of course a necessary cup of fresh, hot coffee for a strong start to your day!
